Teaching piano involves learning technique, no matter if the pupil is young or old, a beginner or at an advanced level. By incorporating skills and technique into my lessons, pupils develop better skills and can play more naturally and easily. From the very beginning, I instill an understanding of finger exercises, movement of the arm and wrist and posture. This benefits pupils greatly and enhances their performance.
